X2900XT Issues

I wish mine was that stable. I don't know if it is heat or power that is the issue. Earlier on I couldn't run 3dMark06 without it crashing. Powered for around an hour, started up and it's OK again. I can't seem to game for any amount of time though without either a crash to desktop, hang or Blue screen of death. Not looking good so far :(

Glad to know its a known issue and props to Futuremark for sorting this out asap. :D
 
did people remember to run the catuninstaller before pluggin in their 2900 and installing the 2900 drivers...i did and havent had any issues...bar the card single handedly heating my room

admitedly i dont do 3dmark stuff, but games so far are all running fine

I hadn't done, but after downloading & running it, reinstalling the latest drivers as before all seems OK now :)

I've so far managed to play skirmishes all the way through on C&C3 demo, all the way through on HL2 : Lost Coast inc stress test and 3dMark 06 without a hitch. I couldn't do any of the above yesterday...
