Heeeeey
So eversince i got my hands on my xbox in january i have been having trouble with downloads.....
You see, everytime i tried to download a game demo, or movie or anything except an update it would give me error messages.
Being a geek i couldnt help notice that there was small clicking noises coming from the xbox, figured it could be the hard drive.
Whilst speaking to the lads (who were actually not foreigners) on xbox 360 customer support, i was taken through many problem solving excersises and they really did know what they were talking about
obviously an educated bunch. During our process of elimination of possible problems (most to do with my ISP and router, the were taking detailed notes on there computer system, so that when i got put onto a different employee they would have all the details about the case, which i thought was excellent. So in the end i got a phone call back, the guy told me to format my hard disk, then recover my gamertag. No joy, as the hard disk just kept on showing up as being unformatted.
So i returned the hard disk back on thursday 1st class delivery, which means that they would have received it on friday (yesturday), to my suprise the replacement turned up this morning
So this thread is just to say good on you Microsoft for having a very efficient and useful customer support
