2nd'ed..great game...lots of fantastic fun...and an absolute steal at £25...cant go far wrong with that. Easy to play but hard to master but it sure is fun trying to master the game...

Other than that i would say PGR3 seems to be a lasting presence with most 360's, i still have mine even though i havent really played it much.
Need for speed Most wanted is great for a quick blast and most achievements are pretty easy to get
Burnout revenge is a superb game as nokkon mentioned before...havent had much time to play it though.
Sports wise....as i said table tennis is a great game, FN3 is another good one...top spin2??...not one of my fave games....that will be sold soon though as i cant really stand it tbh. Madden football is easy as hell and should be the easiest 1000 points you can get from a game:p.

Hmmm most of the games i have mentioned above are the ones i have, other than topspin2 and FN3....which will be traded or sold when i get the chance...i cant fault any of the other games. Also lets not forget GRAW especially for online action...superb game and really excels there.

I thought the demo controlled like crud compared to the old tomb raider games.
 
Games I have at the moment;

PGR3 - got this on launch day, played a bit but I'm not a big racing fan so it never gets played, will probably sell it. It is a great game though despite this.
Madden '06 - haven't played this nearly enough got to get some Live action going!
Table Tennis - What a great game! Completely addictive, cheap and great on Live, can't go wrong with this one for the price.
COD2 - Great game, great visuals very laggy last time I played on Live though.
GRAW - OMG this game looks and plays so well, single player is v good but it comes into it's own on Live. If you like tactical shooters then this is the one.
Oblivion - What can I say, buy this game.
Ridge Racer 6 - A friend gave me a promotional copy he got, I played it once but again I don't like racers so will probably sell this.

Games I want but don't have yet;

Top Spin 2 - played the demo and it plays really well, was a big fan of the original on the XBOX.

Prem console with Hitman and PGR3 as a bundle and a play and charge kit. Think i'll get a load of demos downloaded to try other games before I buy, or pick up a few cheeky second hand ones listed from the above recommendations ;)

I'm sure you will. I don't know whether it's just a temporary phase but I just don't want to play on my PC now I've got the 360. I just love being able to lie down some distance away, relax and play within a few moments of switching the box on.

My PC still gets the multiplayer action, just as you say the 360 offers more pick up and play fun, for a 30 min balst its ace, but still can't beat a 12 hour PC RPG slog. :D
 
Oh aye. You can't beat whiling away half a day stuck in some RTS. Although Hexic seems to be occuping 50% of my game time at the moment. :D

Im using gameswap.com its 9.99 for 1 game at at time you get a 10 day free trial also, on my second game in 2 weeks seems ok.

As for which game to get id say PGR and burnout for sure both great online and single player.
