X360 Gold Subscription Q?

I understand that if I buy the Premium console I'll get a silver subscription, but to play games online I'll need a gold subscription. However when looking at the prices to buy online there always seems to be at least a couple of different "12 month" gold subscription items.

Are they all the same?

best thing to do is get hold of a xbox live pack that comes with a game i got PGR2 and live 12 month for £19.99 although its an orogional xbox live subscription it works fine with my 360
Normaly 12 months for a gold service will set you back £39.99

A 12 month gold subscription shouldn't vary at all, wherever you get a game or what it comes with.

You get a free month Gold with the 360 anyway, so you don't need to worry too quickly about getting one.

Can you give an example of the differing 12 months ones?

If you can find an old Xbox 1 game / bundle which comes with 12 months Xbox Live subscription, that's going to be your best deal, but they're a bit of a gold dust item nowdays, as everybody took advantage of them.

Value Pack
Renewal Card
Starter Kit

All available as 12 month items :)

Value Pack, that's got a headset with it. If you buy the premium console, you'll have one. So ignore that.

Renewal Card is the one you want, but as above, if you find a Starter kit for the old Xbox Live, then you can use that. As long as it says 12 months, just go for the cheapest you can find.

One last question, are you limited to playing on the games for the region in which you've defined your Live account? eg UK account on UK/European servers, US account on US servers?

I might be going to Trafford Park Asda later. I'll pick one up for you if they're still there.
A generous offer but I've put an offer on one of the ebay auctions so hopefully that will be accepted, thanks.

$30 and I've got a Gold subscription, just need an X360 now :D
