X360: Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 Live arranging thread

I am LOVING this game at the moment. I got a blind fire pistol kill on Wyrdo (he was basically next to me though), I was so chuffed with that. I am a bit rubbish ah killing people when I am not behind cover though.

I have to go soon to eat and watch Eastenders :p

Will definitely be playing this regularly online though :) (despite the fact I have the SP to complete, as well as Condemned 2 and Assassins Creed)

EDIT: GG all. I have work tomorrow so off to get some kip now.

Struggling like hell with this now after playing so much COD. Cannot get used to it again. So used to the COD cross hair at close quarters. I'm not hitting anything up close at all.

I was never good at RB6:V 1 anyways... lol.

Although I got pretty good with the shottie towards the end.

Anyone got any tips for long and short range shooting? What guns do you all use? Is that hilleh bloke on here - he seemed a good lad :D

The shotgun is too good from range imo and without a decent target reticule for the assault rifles etc your at a severe disadvantage in the close areas.

Also, when im up close and pray and spray - it never hits the other bloke. Is there a nack to killing people up close?

Yep you get one of those ring binder reinforcing holes and you stick it on the center of the screen.

Thats why I dont particularly like it when games don't have them as some players do that some dont. Personally I dont wanna stick one on my LCD.

I dont remember R61 not having one?

I literally cannot get a kill in open combat. Only from being stuck to a wall.

Also if I goto LT COD4 style one more time in close combat I'm gonna snap the trigger off or file it flat.

Yea good game guys, really enjoyed it.

I don't play this like COD, I tend to hide behind objects a lot more, and try to take the high ground, it's weird I can''t explain it.

I have a good sense of the middle of the screen (if you ever played the old TFC, after being conced, you should have this skill too!) so open combat is easier for me than most. But I still prefer the luxury of having a wall / box to hide behind :)
 
I found it really easy to shoot using the centre of the screen. I was only using a 17" monitor though :p

You can see everything that is going on without using periphal vision too.
