X51 SSD Upgrade

Hi All,

I own a slightly modified X51 R2 - i4790, GTX1060, 16gb HyperX Ram.

Anyway - i would like to upgrade the WD Blue 1Tb hard drive to an SSD.

How do i do this with a step by step? I know it seems silly - but i am confused as how to boot back up when the original is removed etc etc.

I would suggest you watch a couple of videos on how to do this

Something like this would be great to sit and watch

I know this says it is for a new pc build the process is identical.

OR you could clone the HDD to an SSD using software like macrium reflect.

Jack it is really simple, just do what harry has said and watch a few vids.

Buy the SSD, use a program like Macrium reflect and clone your current hard drive to the new SSD, and then just swap it out and it should be exactly the same except perform much much better
