X58 Board power

Hi,

OK, I think I'm being a bit thick here.

On an Intel DX58SO board, part of the power connections states (quote)


If additional power is required, connect the appropriate power supply cable to
either the 1 x 4 auxiliary PCI Express graphics power connector or to the SATAstyle auxiliary PCI Express graphics power connector or to both.


Huh?????

Do you use both or not??????

will prob go for a GTX 260 or 285 depending on funds att.

Single to start and then double up later.



So, you're saying that it deffo won't hurt to connect BOTH connections, in fact it will help if I do use both. ???

I hope I've got that right.
