X6 overclocking help please

They were both x8 ( so 2120Mhz)
Ram voltage was that high because I was upping it a notch each time it failed to boot.

I've given up on the ram again, for now. Sitting on 3.71Ghz, notched the ht and nb multis up to x10.
DRAM back at 1.65V, x4 multi on the ram itself, so running at 1060Mhz. Much less than its rated at... but at least its stable, hopefully.

Was stable all weekend, though I didn't play any mega stressful games on it. Will try SupCom and maybe Crysis next weekend :)

3.71Ghz, with the ram still down at the lowest x4 multi. Wouldn't be stable with faster ram speeds, no matter how much voltage I put through it. Still, faster processor is more useful than faster ram speeds, and it also means tighter timings, so its not really an issue in my eyes.

Plus soon I'll hopefully be having a slight revamp of my case insides, tidying it up and getting better airflow. Plus another couple of fans! With any luck that should cool it down even more to allow pushing speeds up a little more. If I could hit 4, I'd be really happy :D

i did hit 4 gig. it was bootable and would pas ibt at stnadard and linx. but would fail prime and ibt maximum

I've been following this thread with great interest as I have just put together a system with 1055T cpu... I had all kinds of palava initially, but soon got the hang useing Asus's TurboV Proggie... I had my CPu Singing to my tune within a fews day...

The weird thing is as you have pointed out is system becomes very unstable as soon as I increase Mem frequency.. Current I have left mem on Auto, as it appears to keep things calm.. I carnt get passed my current 265 Bus without it becomeing unstable in windows... even though Temps are pretty good at 52c.. I'm guessing NB needs additional cooling to push this any further..

Or perhaps additional voltage to the NB? Then again, we both have decent speeds on them. Not the fabled 4Ghz, but 3.7 should be enough for post things :)

Also, your sig is too large, 4 lines is the limit, check the FAQ at the top.
