Hi all! Im newb here and im looking for help. Yesterday i finally recieved my new mobo Abit AW9D-MAX (thx OC for fast delivery). After about 12 hours of sorting probs with this mobo i finally make it work with no probs. ;)
Now my "problem" I've got C2D X6800ES and i cant go over 3.536GHz (multiplier 13). If i go on 14 PC wont boot up and i didnt do anything with RAMs.Im using watercooling, 2GB PC6400 Corsairs, Raptors in Raid0.
3.5GHz is fine but i think this CPU can go higher than that especially this Eng. Sample :(
Any ideas or hints please?
Thank you

Maybe you need to unlink the RAM in the BIOS.

Could u be a little bit more specific? English is not my native language and im not quiet sure with your answer.Sry ;)

Have you checked XS for how to set the mobo up to be used properly?

This is an issues will all bord currently you have to fanny about with them before they will run properly.

I know on one of the Abits you need the gigabite lan to be enabled for raid to work.

Them volts are uber low! Defo up it some more.

My X6800 does 4ghz stock cooler on 1.5v fine 24/7 stable

Hopefuly i can burn in my QX6700 for that too hehhe
