X79 Windows 8 chipset drivers

I have an Asus Sabertooth X79 Motherboard and i am currently running windows 8. i have tried to update my chipset drivers and install Intel RST to get my SSD Cached and i am getting the following message when i try to open the installer for both the chipset and RST

DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS OPERATING SYSTEM : WNT_6.2P_64

can anyone help??......
Please dont just say downgrade to 7 lol... or XP

Might be a stupid question, but are you downloading them from here and selecting Windows 8 64 bit?

You dont need chipset drivers. Use the system without!!!!

That's odd, I have a P9X79 and didn't have any trouble with the W8 chipset drivers. Have you checked the ASUS forums to see if anyone else is having the same issue? Also have you tried just downloading them from Intel's site? Oh and dumb question but your W8 is 64bit yeah?

yeah ive figured it out now, it was more for the Intel RST so i can cache an SSD the Asus installer doesn't work because it hasn't been updated or something by asus. I had to open the install folder and click the Intel setup.

Download the ones for the intel DX79TO from the intel website. They will have the latest RST and the Inf/Chipset update.
