X99 memory speed?

I have an X99 board with Dominator Platinum 2666 and it won't run slower than 2800 without stability issues, runs fine at 3000 as well.
 
I run the Corsair 32GB kit (3200mhz) on my x99, it works fine thus far, would have preferred the G.Skill though...
 
I've just ordered G.Skill Ripjaw 4 2800 kit first while I hunt around for the black and white G.Skill Trident Z 3200 kit, as Ive been reading X99 can be funny with the faster ram.

Ive seen more people say they have had issues with corsair at 3200+ on x99 boards and most people say Gskill are just plug and play at the same speeds which was why I swapped my order.

G Skill memory was indeed plug and play.

Corsair are very switched on with DDR4 these days. There latest kits are fine in both quad channel and dual channel formats.

Kingston Predator 3000mhz also a good solid kit.

What density you using as with BWE WS board with 64gb + 3200mhz needs many adjustments to run stable. With HWE its fine. Anniv 10 is fine with all.
