XBL Payment Question - Renewal

Well, im at home from uni [where i cant get XBL to connect to other players] for a month and i decided to buy a months worth of Gold to enjoy, because lets face it, live is where its at.

Although, im now thinking, how do i cancel this? i dont want it to renew each month forever.. but im not seeing any options to cancel out of the renewal? im probably being quite blind but could some kind soul point me in the right direction...

I also dont want to cancel my gold yet, just use my months worth and then no more...

Any help muchos appreciated.

You could make another Live! profile on your 360 and it should offer you a free month on Gold without the need for CC details or any subscriptions signup.

Or you can pay for a month sub and cancel it over the phone if you are unable to do so over the 360 on Live!.

Last option is to get a 3 month Gold card but if you can't use the 2 months then this would be a waste.

I know i could have done and i did try [for the free month], but it wouldnt let me.. no xbox 360 sign ups at that time apparently... so i just threw it on my CC... 1 month gold, but what happens about renewal? or does my month just run out and thats it.. i dont want it charging me more months after..

It auto renews, contact Microsoft and they will cancel it for you.

If paying by CC and you wish to cancel you can goto your profile at xbox.com and cancel your LIVE service that way, just do it a day or 2 before it is due for renewal.
