Sorry to ask a silly question but is this the original worms (I.e little sticks rather than proper cartoons) or worms 2/Armageddon style?

Sounds great whatever it is, totally <3 Worms.

It's the worms 2, armageddon style worms from the screenies i've seen of it.

As for when it's out........how longs a piece of string! With XBLA the only people who know are M$ and we find out like the day before it comes out.

Of course if Worms is the 10th of those 10 games to be released then it wont be out till April! So now - April is as near to a release date as you can get I guess.

Some interesting titles in that list I quite fancy that 3D crazy golf game if it's any good as well as Worms and Castlevania

Castlevania will simply be the best game on XBLA when its released.

The Major has also stated at some point that we will be hopefully getting 2 Arcade titles a week.

Absolutely. Out of the games announced it is the lonly one I'm really looking forward to, although I'll probably buy Worms for multiplayer fun.
