Xbox 360 can't find PC!

I recently upgraded my system to Vista, and a whole load of new components. Previously I had no problem streaming movies and TV shows from my PC direct to the 360 to watch on TV.

I have now installed Vista on the PC and the 360 cannot connect to it. I have no idea why. I have been googling for weeks to find a solution and I have come up with nothing.

Even more baffling, the 360 can see my laptop (which also runs Vista) no problem. At the moment I am moving movies from the PC to my laptop on a data stick but it is getting pretty annoying and I'd love to solve the problem!

Anyone have any ideas at all?

Would be good to know the topology of your network, what differs from your laptop from your main PC etc.

the 360 in hardwired to my router, and the PC and laptop are connected to it wirelessly.

Have you tried connecting your Xbox to your PC with a switch rather than through your router.

No I haven't. How would I do that? Could it still be wireless?

Sorry you said you 360 was hardwired to your router, not wireless?

Yes Xbox is hardwired, PC and laptop are wireless.
