Xbox 360 Ethernet port speed ?

Hi,

Just wired up my house with ethernet, I'm intending to stream media to my xbox 360 and am now looking at the ethernet switch, anyone know what speed to ethernet port goes up to, I suspect 100mb rather than 1gb but thought I'd check first.

Almost totally sure it's 100Mb.

It uses a 100BASE-TX Ethernet port, so its 100mb transfer speed.

Deffo 100mb.

Won't cause you a problem streaming tbh.

Content would have to be in the region of 500-600mb per minute of video to strain a 100mb network (I don't even think HD-DVD/Blu-ray material has bitrates that high yet.)
