Xbox 360 keeps crashing and running very slow

Hi there, I have two nephews who live on there xbox 360's , one of them keeps saying his xbox has gone really really slow and keeps crashing? He said it's all up2 date? Any ideas what this could be or has he played it too hard lol thanks

Mine freezes quite a lot. The DVD drive is knackered. Check if it crashes when playing from disc or when playing from HD. Installing games seems to have sorted mine.

Temperatures could be too high make sure it's well venitlated

Could be dusty Mine was a while ago gave it a good blow out with some compressed air and it was fine after that.
