Hi

I have a computer that recieves a wireless network via a usb wireless adapter. Can I connect an xbox 360 to the ethernet port of said computer and allow it to access the network... It would save on me splashing out on a wireless adapter for the xbox

I'm sorry we're going to disagree but ICS is total pap. It might get you out of a fix but for all sorts of reasons its vastly inferior to a dedicated connection for each machine:

If the host machine is off, no ICS.

If the host machine has an issue with network connection, no ICS.

Firewalling and opening ports for anything on ICS is a total hardship....

I'd just by the adaptor for the 360, its not like its expensive or anything.

Thanks for the advice.... however if I can spend a couple of hours of my time in order to save £60 then I'll certainly do it... I think the wireless adapter for the xbox 360 is overpriced to be honest.

Yes apparently simply bridging the two adapters was the best solution.... By best I mean it only took me a couple of clicks and everything seems to be working fine!
