XBOX 360 not seeing video files on networked pc?

Have finally got everything working so my 360 can see my pc in the media section, but it says "no video files found" when I go into the folders. I am running media player 11 and have the files in my libery and shared. Any ideas on this?

What file format are the videos? The 360 can only see WMVs natively. You'll need to install something like TVersity or Transcode360 to play DivX etc.

I've been looking at a number of utilities to do this - anybody got any opinion as to which is best before I take the plunge. I have a *relatively* slow PC (Athlon with 1gb of memory) so I appreciate the performance won't be brilliant...

I followed this and it worked ok, only thing is you need to convert the video files into mpeg-4.

Tversity is your only option in terms of streaming as transcode 360 is a media center addon. However, it eats pc resources and will bog down that Athlon.
