but sold it a month later because i couldn't get it online or in HD and the games were rubbish.

Yeah I read that but I still don't really understand.

If your going to buy a console at launch you have to accept the fact that the games won't be the best the system as to offer at that time.

was a Christmas present, and i dont get you.....

they don't bring out a console knowing all games are rubbish, or it wouldn't sell ? the hype was all good for the games....as you will expect but when they came out it wasn't as good as expected.....

and then knowing there wouldn't be a good game until about 8 months IMO......there was no point...i rather get all my money back straight away than wait 8 months....with the best console in the world....not doing anything

and lets go back i was 15 years old....

Anyhow, internet....im on Wired AOL, anyone on 360 with AOL ? how hard was it to set up ?

Easy choice at the moment, Xbox live has a far better gaming community than PSN, even though it costs between £30-40 a year. PSN does most things you want from online gaming, just that Xbox live does much more, think in the up coming months with home on PS3 it may change. TBH ive never had a problem with PSN all of the Sony games that are MP have P to P and dedicated Servers, Warhawk, Resistance, GT5P to name a few. Like i said at present easy answer is Xbox, in a 6 months time who knows!

PS3 isn't rubbish at all online. It lacks a lot of the polish of Xbox Live, but down to playing online itself its just as good, perhaps better due to dedicated servers.

That's one of the areas I think PS3 misses out on. Online feels tagged on, on PS3 whereas on Xbox360 it's all integrated at all times.

I enjoy both Live and PSN, Live has more of a reactive feel to it and it's obvious it's been around and successful for as long as it has. But the community is exactly the reason why I prefer PSN.

I play more games where I'm placed with random people i.e ranked matches or just online for the sake of it than I do with people from my friends list. I know it's becoming a cliche' but a lot of the time on the 360 I simply can't stand the attitude/language/abuse/annoying nature of the people I'm playing with / against. Yes I know thats what turning the headset off is for and being able to block people but I don't want to be doing this all the time :/

I feel like the PSN is for people who want to be able to keep themselves to themselves but can still talk and be competitive without having to ignore / shout back at other people. Live is more 'Bustling' if that makes sense.

Either way I've never had trouble finding a match for any game on either system, just comes down to a matter of choice / opinion :) As do all things :)

If you like playing FIFA online, and your friends dont, then you only have one choice. Xbox 360.

OcUK FIFA League is where it is at ;)

I beg to differ.. I had both Fifa's on the PS3 and 360... and preferred the ps3 experience. Why? Cos i didn't have to deal with the 360 noise issues, and the game is almost nearly identical... Ended up selling the 360 ver on ebay and keeping the ps3 ver.

ive never been abused when playing on my mates....they either don't talk, or talk nice......

There are times when I enter a good match on Live, and don't get me wrong, a lot of the time it is fine, but I've had many bad and it sticks in the mind easier than good. My opinion of it has been the same since it first launched on the Xbox.

The problem with PS3 online is that hardly anybody seems to talk, also because Sony dropped the ball by not including a headset with the PS3 as standard everybody has different quality headsets so some people sound nearly inaudible and quiet where as other sound fine.

Problem is, this will be a problem for a while to come as a microphone still doesn't come as standard, I'd pay £40/year just for the fact the majority talk on Xbox Live.

360 easily, online is the biggest features of it and it shows.
Ps3 online is ok but it isn't up to par with xbl with a lot of features

XBOX 360. You're paying for it after all. Then again, PC is king of online and thats free so you kinda get ripped off paying for xbox live.

Prefer PS3 online since i'm friendless I don't need all those features xbox live offers I just want to be able to play online like you're free to do on pc (of which you can add xfire to essentially give you the same features live offers. You're essentially paying for the software).

Microsoft are a software company so you would expect their software to be top notch which it is. Sony on the other hand are primarily focused on hardware and this is certainly shown with the ps3 (blu ray, build quality etc).
