Hi all,

just pickedup a 360 pro with gears of war, rainbow six and cod3. and i'm loving it :D

I have it connected to my HP2465 (24" widescreen) via the offical VGA lead, the monitor has a native res of 1920x1200 so i downloaded the xbox update to enable me to play at 1920x1080 (1080p? i think) but when i select this a large section off the left of the screen is out of view? i don't see why this would happen as the monitor supports up to 1920x1200 (which is the res i use in windows)

Any ideas?

Also why i am here, i created an offline profile and have got quite far in GoW but now i have signed up to Xbox Live i have had to make a new profile and i now wish to use this profile all the time, trouble is all my saved games are on the old profile :( anyway of moving them across to the new one?

Thanks a lot! :D

Have you tried resizing your monitor?

Or perhaps testing with a lower res?

can't resize the monitor, only to preset sizes :( and all the lower res's work just not 1920x1080 which would look the best

VGA cable wouldn't let me go above 1378x768 (or whatever it was). Component let me go above that to 1080i though. Must be different for other monitors/TV's, my old monitor on VGA cable could only go to 1280x1024!

Perhaps the monitor can't support it after all.

What about the resolution on a Samsung 32" LE32R74BDX?

It says the natural res of that TV is 1368x768, on the 360 i get the option of 1360x768. Would it be best to choose that one or ? :)

Any help is appreciated
