Xbox 360 returns

I've only had mine just over a month and it's locked up several times already, one of them was just on the dashboard!
Game said I had 12 months warranty with them so I don't see why they wouldn't change it if it does die? Getting a bit worried after reading all the posts on here :(

How are they going to have time to test it whilst the shop is open... unless they are going to use itas the demo console for the day?

No idea, im assuming they'll just get someone to stand ejecting the tray for a while. Pain in the arse as its an intermitant fault yet they seem to think im returning it for ***** and giggles.

Ah yes, sorry I was getting you mixed up with someone who was suffering intermittent lock-ups. Still sounds like them being a pita about it. I could understand if you were asking for a refund but not for a staright swap where you will gain nothing.

From what ive experienced so far if they dont see the fault then it doesn't exist. I got my 360 on friday and brought it back monday and for whatever reason they're giving me the run around with crap like "ooh if customer services tests this and cant find a problem we'll be in trouble".

I dunno what part of intermitant they don't understand but its frustrating as hell when theyre practically calling me a liar saying "well we cant find anything wrong with it". If i was trying to pull a fast one id be wanting a refund not a replacement console.

The muppet seeing to me yesterday gave me all this crap about call this number in england and if they say so we'll replace it, i called the number and was told without seeing it they can't authorise a replacement so it goes to show how well some of these tools are in the know.

I also love how they **** off behind closed doors to test it, why can't they do it there in front of you so you know theyre actually testing it.

It really is poor that there is no official word from MS. It is quite obvious that these failures are more than just bad luck, there must be some inherent problem with the design.

I had a quick look on the Xbox forums and we should think ourselves lucky, in the states they have to pay $130 for a replacement it it fails after 3 months!!!
