Xbox 360 Single Console Multiplayer Games?

Just completed Gears Of War on the Xbox 360 as a multiplayer split screen with a friend? The ending was left open which hopefully means there will be a Gears Of War 2 in the future!

Just wondered if anyone could recommed any other shooting games as good as this that can be played multiplayer on a single console?

Rainbow Six Vegas, Best shooter i have played in a long time.

never tried to do a co-op on the same box, someone should be able to confirm though. But it does co-op over live.

Not sure if story can be done, though i think it can (99% sure). Can do terrorist hunts though
