Xbox 360 Slim?

How would the HDD fit on a slim 360? Surely its height and length are governed by the size of the HDD casing? Its could be a lighter and shorter version i guess, also whats with the DIY cpu Fan?

would be interesting if true, also may cause me to pick one up if it coincided with a decent enough price drop.

out of all the size issues though an internal power supply would improve the 360 a lot as its somthing i never did like about it.

oh and built in wifi???

It seemed (could be other things) that the PS3 Slim was an out and out success.. If done correctly, it may have some impact on sales, especially of the price was right!

As for the design, they would need to make it 'slick' with touch controls or similar and really compete with the PS3 on a design level (MS don't normally do this).

Probably won't have built in wifi. Microsoft seem to be doing okay on shifting the wifi dongles even though they are way overpriced.

The external PSU has never really bothered me. I just keep it under the table out of sight. It is added bulk when you want to move it around yes, but still.

I'd be interested to see the casing if this is true. Looking at my 360 beside me now, it is very slim as it is. Just about, or even under, 2 inches thick.

If they decrease the power then the big brick could become a smaller brick, like the PS2's external one.

An updated picture if anyone is interested, apparently the GPU and CPU are integrated:

Absolutely. The newer lots of Jasper 360s ship with a power brick that's a fair bit smaller than even the first batch of 150 watt PSUs that came with the original Jaspers. If MS could get down to, say, a box that only draws 100 to 120 watts then there's no reason why the PSU couldn't get even smaller again.

I don't mind the size of the normal 360, but a quiter (and hopefuly) more reliable design would bevery nice.
