Remaining Games:

Ravl585 vs Spudmaster
Robgmun vs Spudmaster
Robgmun vs Lucifurr

Lets try get it done by the weekend guys! :)

I can play my game tomorrow in the evening RobGman, but not too late as I have to travel to Caerphilly and back for 1 day of consultancy on Friday (280 mile round trip) so I will probably be too knackered on Friday but if you are around I'll play.

Rob - we are all backing you to get at least 1 win! :p;)

How does everyone feel in season 3 if we use 1 char but still 2 games vs each opponent, or is everyone preferring using 2 chars? :)

hey arth, you said my style has change after the long break, i couldnt hear the part after it. anyway how has it? is it for the good or the worst

What i've noticed so far is that you seem more patient, and you do more reversals through combos/blockstrings.
More patient is probably good, but i'd need to play more against your main before i could say whether i think it's for better or worse.
More reversals is slightly good but also very bad. I didn't think you used to do that before, and you should definitely do it at least sometimes, so it's good that they're in there. But as our games 2 days ago (?) showed, that's using it so much is only effective when the opponent doesn't know or expect you to play that way. After that, you'll get punished for them.

What happened to promoting variety? I'm fine with either way though. Some people only play 1 char, so it's probably fairer on them too.
I'd like to see a change to the format though. Something like.. each game is best of 5 rounds, and you play best of 5 games against each person in the league. Same scoring as before, but points are for games rather than rounds. Eg if you lose 3-2, 3-2, 3-2, you get 0, opponent gets 4. Or... add a 4 person tourney for the top 4 placers in league to determine champ. Places 1 and 2 would be in a winners bracket, places 3 and 4 in a losers bracket.

haha, thanks Adz :D my chun has got a lot better in the past few days. As i only ever main Chun it would be good if we could just use one Char next time, I think if i did this time round i would have got a couple of wins in by now

I am quite happy to have 1 or 2. I just thought since we have now had 2 leagues already, the majority might prefer 1 way over another.

All suggestions welcome. :)

I quite like your idea though, lets say not quite a best of 5 rounds for each game but instead best of 3 rounds, and best out of 5 games. So a 2-1 2-1 2-1 straight win, gets someone 4 points, a point for winning each game and a bonus point for winning the set. I like that.

Or... add a 4 person tourney for the top 4 placers in league to determine champ. Places 1 and 2 would be in a winners bracket, places 3 and 4 in a losers bracket.

Not a bad idea aswel, definately something to consider for the next one.

I'll try and get my game with Spud done today.

Haven't been on much, a mixture of GT5 and a bad cold means less SSF4 for me :(

But yeah, top 4 winners and losers bracket is a great idea.

what i notice is random uppercut is very effective when used sparingly. i am still trying to find a balance between blocking, teching and reversal. i realized i dont enough reversals before, maybe ex sbk and overhead is harder to do than mashing uppercut:p:D
