- XBOX 360 LEAGUE -

SEASON 1 Winner = Artheas!

- Rules

-Each game is first to 3 rounds.
-Each round is 99 seconds.
-You play all other competitors twice.
-One point is gained for each round you win.
-One extra point is awarded to the winner.
-Everyone must choose 2 characters, one HOME and one AWAY character.
-If you are hosting, you must select your HOME character. In the second game which your opponent hosts, you must choose your AWAY character.

So that we have a wider range of characters involved. From the last league I recall loads and loads of Ryu players which made the whole thing a bit dull.

Swapping hosts is just so each player gets a chance to play as P1 and P2. Personally I don't really view any side as an advantage or disadvantage but others may.

Any suggestions are welcome though. :p

Hmm that's true, if anyone doesn't wish to declare their chars they can just email it to me and once we have enough ppl I will confirm it. I don't think many ppl will be that bothered though tbh.

That's no problem mate, just arrange it with everyone on here whatever time is best.

Also, rather then anyone just playing all their games and being done with it, I think we should do it stage by stage, that way the final result isn't known until the last set of games. I will decide who plays who and when, since I organised it :p but remember, everyone will get a chance to play everyone else! :)

It will be at quite a relaxed pace, we will do it round by round so that everyone will have played roughly the same amount of games as it progresses. :)

Did you use to main Blanka? I may have you confused with someone else...

We all have those sessions, I have dropped from about 2700 PP to around 2300 PP this week. Nightmare sessions just as I was hoping to hit the 3000 PP mark. It didn't help that I started to use Guile in ranked mode!

You are in, we can all do with some practice plus sparring with Rav and Artheas will definately help you improve. :)

Btw Adz, how does your excel table work? Do you need to update and upload every time you want the table to update in this thread? Or is there a smarter way?

All I do is put the score in from each game, and the table auto updates with games played, wins, losses and points etc. It was made by rp2000 ages ago back when he ran the very first league, he emailed me the file over which I still had saved. :)

After each round I will update the table with scores, and simply take a pic of the table as it stands and upload it, takes me about 2 mins max.

Well I suppose that's the risk with random, you could land your main or you could land someone you have never touched!

Deadline for entries and character selection is 8pm tonight, fixtures will be up shortly after. :)

Please can everyone make an extra effort once they have played their round 1 game (or even before that) to get their game with vian_siu over with sometime this week! After that we will continue with the fixtures at a more relaxed pace.
 
It's just a friendly league yet I still managed to buckle under the pressure LOL ggs Rob. :p Ok I won the first game quite comfortably with Guile when I hosted, the second game Rob accidently set the game upto 2 rounds which I just about won at 2-1 until we realised. I decided to play the game again REGRETFULLY lol and he set up again and what a good TENSE game! I will not post the score, instead the video later tonight. :p Rob don't give the score away. :)

I had some sparring with Rob before our game, but he kept his secret weapon Gouken well hidden though until our actual game. :(:p
