xbox 360 to monitor problems

Hi my mate has a 360 with the HD vga adapter. one end has a male VGA pin which goes into the back of a monitor that obviously has the female VGA pin.

Now the problem is his monitors VGA cord is built in to his monitor he cant unplug it.

So he needs a female to female adapter I think?

will this do the job?

its a female to female adapter.

Yes I imagine so, if he got the official HD cable then such a convertor should have been in the box, well to convert male to female

it looks official, but thats a female to female. which is what i think he needs

The one in the box works if the lead is built into the monitor (male end)

Yeah, there is one in the box with the official VGA cable but there only about £1 from a shop.
