Just a quick question about the 360 Wireless Adapter
I’m just about to set up a new network here at home and I was going to buy the new Netgear DG834N 270Mbps Rangemax NEXT Wireless found here
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-086-NG&groupid=46&catid=116&subcat=143
If so will it be ok if I set up the network with the new 802.11n gear!
And can I get the Netgear WN121T 270Mbps Rangemax NEXT USB Adapter found here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-120-NG&groupid=46&catid=116&subcat=
Will this work on the 360 ok or do I have to get the official 360 Wireless Adapter?

Thanks for any help.

Only the official 360 Wireless Adapter will work via the 360's USB port.

Nothing stopping you using a Wifi Bridge via the Ethernet port though.

These are the two they sell.

Basically it is like a small switch/router. You plug the ethernet end into your 360 and the little box then connects to your WLAN over it's wifi connection. You will have to logon to it through a webpage (like most routers) to configure it and tell it what your ssid and wifi settings are. Very simple, only disadvantage is that they are mains powered so you will need an extra power port near your 360 (whereas the usb official MS one is usb powered).

you can probably pick up the official USB jobby for a similar price if you look around or get a pre-owned one.

3 brick or partition walls? If its the latter it should be fine.
