Xbox 360 wireless controller with PC?

why would anyone want to use a wireless controller on PC?. If its for couch playing use a wireless 70% keyboard and mouse

I’ve been using keyboards since the 8bit gaming days. Over the past 4yrs however games now lend themselves very well to controllers.

Ubisoft games for instance, they’ve got that sluggish feel to them that work well with controllers like Division 2 or AC the latter of which was built with controllers in mind.

You can’t get force feedback with a keyboard - in division 2 I can’t even begin to picture myself using a keyboard because every gun feels different when you’re holding a controller for instance.

For a long time there’s been a place for controllers in PC Gaming. It should be appreciated.

i completely agree... the loss of tactile feedback alone (vibration) would be a loss. It also encourages you to play in a more sensible manner imo. you cant do instant turns and still be pinpoint accurate with a pad like you can with a KB/M which makes for more sensible gameplay imo ...... dont believe me try playing KB/M twitch gameplay in vr and you soon realise how implausible the movements are (and try not to throw up )

of course if all you care about is winning then KB/M is more effective in fpsers.

the 1 place where imo a pad just sucks however is in RTS games. turn based like xbox is fine, but real time, i guess it is possible with practice but i find i am just fighting the controls all the time when playing them if on a pad

I bought an X-Box wireless controller to use over Bluetooth, but playing, games would start stuttering every couple of minutes. I got an X-Box dongle, and all the problems went away.
