Xbox 360 wireless headset compatible with PC?

Yo.

I have just bought a Wireless Xbox 360 headset and receiver for PC. In L4D2, the controller works fine, but I'm just wondering is there anyway I can enable my Xbox 360 headset to work with Steam or the L4D2 inbuilt chat??

I have installed the lastest 1.2 xbox accesory software from microsoft's website. But still no joy.

I think it might be possible, I remember my bro bragging about getting voice chat in CS Source to work via the xbox headset

I use mine with teamspeak and vent, guess you need to select the correct recording device as defualt in windows if you cant do it in Steam.
