Hey All,

Just a quick question,

Does anyone own (or used) a Xbox 360 wireless headset?

Are they worth the money? (I can get one for £30)

Do you have any problems with yours?

I have been wanting one for a while, but my mate at work told me not to bother, is he right?

Cheers,

MonkieMann

Ive had one for a few months, fits snuggly on the ear, sound quality is good through the speaker. The only slight problem is the mic is over sensitive so if youve got your speakers cranked up very high it will continue to transit annoying the other players.
I love mine though well worth the money, wouldnt go back to the standard headset.

cool :)

Isn't there a way of changing how sensitive the mic is?

And is there a way of muting just the mic? so i can listen in, but no one can hear me?

cheers

Dunno about changing the sensitivity but to mute it just hit the power button on the headset. You'll hear it keep beeping every so often to remind you it's muted.

I have had mine for a few months and i absolutely love it tbh. Much better than the wired one, allows you to have some freedom rather than being stuck with a wire trailing from the controller to your ear.

Sound quality is fine and is pretty comfy on the ear. One of the best accessories ive bought for my 360 and definitely worth the price imho.

well i'm sold :)

Looks like its time to go to the shops and get this and table tennis for £14.99 (bargain?)

Going off topic ... is table tennis anygood?

I thought i'd give it a go for £14.99 :)

cheers

Only issue with wireless headsets is now and then they can make a VERY annoying noise for other people in the room (you can't hear it though)

Just have to reset it to make it stop.

£30? Mine was £25...

Good though, with the things mentioned by others. Also with the upcoming Wireless receiver for PC you can use it (and all other 360 wireless peripherals) on your PC, if you want to.

nice one :)

Andy298 would you recommend it over the wired one?

Yeh definitely! I mean now I'm not attached to my pad I can go to the toilet and carry on talking to my friends :p

Seriously though I think it's much better, and it's really comfy! Don't notice I have it on most of the time.
