I picked one of these up a few weeks ago, spur of the moment type thing. I don't even know why I bought it as I don't use my other headset ever, mainly because I think it is rubbish and uncomfortable.

The wireless headset is awesome. So comfy, doesn't have that silly wire (obviously) and I can hear people much better. I haven't had any complaints about my voice using it so I assume that is ok too.

I tend to just have it on all the time I am playing online now, whereas before I would only plug the headset in if people were talking back to me.

Not sure what the point of this thread is, other than to say that if anyone else is thinking of getting one, go for it, it's awesome.

I've been considering one for a bit so thanks for that :)
May end up getting one next payday as I hate the feeling of the wired one.

I love the sound quality on mine but due to not having microsoft shaped ears, mine feels really odd and uncomfortable as if it's about to fall off my ear and not on securely whenever I put it on.

I picked one up at the weekend and am stuggling to get it to register my voice without speaking really loudly. I find I can speak a lot quiter on the wired one so have gone back to using that.
Could I have a faulty set?

I have the same problem also, while the wireless headset is comfy and the earpiece is clearer i just can't stand having to shout into the mic for it to register my voice. I quickly moved back to my wired headset

Do you reckon the purple shirt brigade will take it back for a refund if I tell them it doesn't work as it should?

Thats odd about the voice thing. I think I naturally speak a bit louder when on Xbox Live anyway, so haven't noticed a problem. Whereas when I am on Ventrillo/TS on my PS, because it is push to talk I just speak normally.

I find it fits well and although sometimes feels weird I quickly get used to it. The wired headset was way too big, even with the thing set to the smallest setting it still was too big for my head.

Is your head the size of a pea? :p:D
And cheers for the info guys. :)

That's the weird thing, I thought I had a pretty big head. I don't understand why. I had 2 headsets (can't remember why) and about 9 months ago I cut one of them on the head band, cut about 2 inches off it and then taped the other bit back on. The size was better but it was such a bodge job it was even more uncomfortable.

As much as I really like the wireless headset, if I could find my wired headset I would probably end up using it more. The problem I have with the wireless is I keep forgetting to charge it up, so I'll often go to use it and there'll be no life left in it.

I also have the problem re the headset picking my voice up, and also painful on the ears, especially as I wear glasses. It seems strange that it comes with a small and medium earband but no l;arge??
