What alternatives are there to the official 360 wireless adapter?

Can you get anything that slots into the usb port at the back wich you can then link up with a normal wireless router?

No other USB wifi dongle will work with the 360 - only the official Microsoft one.

The only other option you have is a ethernet wifi bridge, to connect via the 360's ethernet port.

Pretty much sums up your options.

So i basically need a wireles router such as netgear, linksys or the like and the 360 wireless adapter?

Or, stuff like: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Games_Adapters_Bridges.html

But, at the end of the day, it's probably best just to go for the Official Wireless Adapter and a wireless router. You can get the adapter for only £45 over here: http://www.kays.com/AgNet/product.a...ch=xbox+wireless&fh_eds=%df&fh_refview=search, cheapest I've seen it new anyway.
