Xbox 360 with Blu-ray by september???

Eugh, Just bring out the external drive and have done with it

Maybe not right this minute - but games are pushing that barrier more and more. There was one point were people said that a CD would hold far more data for a game than was needed - and now a lot of games are on DVDs as games have got so big.

Future proofing and all that - it only takes that one massive game that will only work on a PS3 as it is just that tiny bit too big for a DVD.

its depends on what you define as useful use of that space. Resistance used most of it for audio

Exactly - could get to the point where the Xbox has compressed sound and the PS3 uncompressed, along with other things, higher resolution textures possibly.

I know which I would prefer!
