Xbox 360 wrong resolution, someone help me change it blindly please...

Hi everyone,

Firstly, I'm a n00b. I changed to full HD when my TV can only do 720p.

Could someone please, from boot, step by step me with what buttons to press blindly to get my res back to 1360 x 768 in the console settings. I can't see anything on screen, so as much detail as possible would help greatly.

Try switching it to SD on the cable, that way it will only send an SD signal and you should be able to see what you're doing.

lol, how did you manage to do that? It even gives you a windows esque prompt to say do you want to keep this resolution defaulted to no

Kind of off topic, but there's something that really annoyed me about that cable.

It has "HDTV" and "SDTV" on it in raised plastic, and there was also a sticker on it showing the exact same information.

Why?!
