Xbox 360 & WRT54G as AP?

I have a XBox 360 and a spare Linkysis WRT54G router (v7). I was wondering if I can somehow use the router to connect to the Xbox 360 via the ethernet cable, and use the wireless capabilities of the router to connect to my other wireless router (connected to the net)... thereby turning the WRT54G into a cheap wireless module for my 360?

Yes, though you might need to install some of the third-party firmware that's around (depending on what version WRT54G you've got).
You need to change the wireless mode from AP to Client-bridged.
