Xbox controller and that guide button

Anyone know what the best way is to make use of the guide button on the xbox controller to say launch steam in big screen mode? (on windows 10 as well)

I have had a go with xpadder, and had no joy.

i would imagine it's locked down for use with GFWL which is obviously useless now. Would be cool to map it as an extra button for games
