Xbox Controller For Windows

Have you seen the price of them though, the cost for this alone is more than the cost of a wired one!

You could grab the £29 pad from here, keep the receiver, and whack the spare wireless pad on the Member's Market?

Yeah wired one felt too light! I bought 2x wireless receivers in the last year, one died so bought another recently for £15+post on ebay :p

It also means you get a headset etc form the xbox you can use on PC, no extra mic and stuff needed.

I have two, i have a wireless reciever and a Play and Charge Kit, both work... also get xpadder and bind media functions, best wireless media remote i have ever used

Just to prevent someone buying a play and charge kit and finding it doesn't work.

The Xbox play and charge cable carries no data, only power, and can't be used to attach a wireless pad to the PC for anything other than charging.

You need either a wireless receiver + wireless pad, or a wired pad.

If the wired one feels too light, then I might as well pay the extra and get the wireless pad and the receiver, at least then I can enjoy games to the fullest where a keyboard & mouse doesnt really suit the game that well, and I have a few of those right now
