everytime my controller vibrates it disconnects... is this a known problem at all ? found a little about it on google but that was from 3 years ago and this is a 2 week old elite pad

who do i contact about such problems ?

it came bundled with my console. who would i contact ? MS ? the store ?

edit-dont have any other battery packs. it probably is the rumble causing it.battery pack seems a tight enough fit so maybe it could be something else inside it ?

I'd take it back to where you bought with the receipt and ask them to refund just the controller, my friend did this with his Wii when the pad suddenly wouldn't turn on when he went to use it a couple of days after buying it.

Sounds like a hardware fault inside the controller and for something 2 days old, I'd feel cheated having to fix it myself.

All you could really try is re-syncing it to the console but I don't see how this could make a difference.

well i emailed MS just to see what they tell me to do. as in fairness taking it back to the competitor i bought the console pack from will be hassle

told them that i had done the troubleshooting and stuff on the site and tried new batteries etc and then pointed out that it only happens when vibrate is turned on.

all i got back was a copy and pasted section of the troubleshooting guide that i had already told them id read. just going on about other wireless devices . /sigh

anyway im going to buy a play and charge kit later as A. i need one anyway and B. it might solve the problem
