Xbox games that are like System Shock, and other fun games, co-op?

I’ve not really gamed in a long time, but am keen to get back into it, as is my wife. I’ve bought an Xbox X.
She was very fond of System Shock and has asked me about games like that. I immediately thought about the Deus Ex games but saw that the latest one was just cancelled. Doh.
Prey is one I remember too. What else should I look at?

What couch co-op stuff is there so we can play together? Is Halo still couch co-op?
I’m fond of driving games, so there’s Forza.

What else should I be looking at?

Bioshock? You can get three games including the last one for Xbox One. Bioshock Infinite.

Oh, and there was a remake of System Shock made in 2023? That is also out for Xbox One.

I am not sure of a modern couch co-op.

There's not much else I've played recently for xbox Co op altho I did like rayman legends

Another vote for “it takes two” - this is a co-op game that is so good it won the game of the year award in 2021

A good site for finding couch co-op games is co-Optimus. Portal 2 a good option although 10 years old now. Couch co op is more commonplace in simpler arcade style games like Overcooked 2 (which is good in its own right)

For system shock style games, Bioshock (start with the 1st one), Prey (2017 version), recent dead space remaster
