My lads 360 started to freeze. Just over a year old. So I said "does it have 3 red lights coz it will be in warranty still?" He said,"No. Definately No."

Oh well, maybe it is overheating...Lets vaccume it. The plastic case is fun to open and you have to break a tiny silver seal. Didnt seem too dirty and I was not going to open the metal casing inside.

Turn it on.....Three red lights. "WTF". boy says, "Oh yea it has done that before. I didnt think it was anything to do with it."

AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Tried sending it to Germany anyway but no surprise. The sent it back. Tampered. Now they wont ever repair it at a cost.........

Damn you xbox 360 and all of your seals.

I can't see how that's the xbox's fault. Make the lad save up his pocket money to replace it.

ebay it with detailed description and put the cost towards another

Shouldn't have opened it.....Trust me to try and fix it myself.

I am tempted to let him have mine but then again maybe he might learn to listen to the question next time.....

You shouldn't have opened it.

MS have got away with murder over the extended warranty though, RROD is just one of the many inherent faults but it's the only one they accept responsiblity for.
