I've been trying to get internet access to my Xbox 360 again recently, but not having much luck. My setup is as follows:
- Wireless router (Netgear DG834) is in another room
- My PC is in my room, with wireless internet access
- My Xbox 360 is connected to my PC via the cable that came with it
When I do Connection Test on the Xbox 360 it fails on IP Address. 'Your console was unable to negotiate a lease with your DHCP server. Make sure that addresses are available on your server'. My PC, which is running Vista x64, can detect the Xbox 360 on the network just fine, as shown in the picture;
The trick is to feed my internet from my Wireless router through my PC and into my Xbox 360 - but I have no clue how. Help me people!
