I was ace at pc games, but most of the time on Live i'd get hammered (except for full auto). Eventually you'll find a game you are good at though!

I thought i was pretty good at G.R.A.W. and then i played online with McDaniel and a few others and realised that i was crap 
Im ok at PGR 3 though so if anybody wants a game add me.

You think you're bad!? I played last night and every 5 seconds I was "Whats that for?" and "What do I do now?" It had something to do with not playing Ghost Recon online for longer than 10 minutes before
.I suck at everything online bar Uno 
I think a lot of it comes down to how much time you have and whether you dedicate yourself to just one game or not.
When I was job hunting I got pretty good at BF:2 on the PC but that was all I played and I put in up to 6 hours a day on it
Also if you buy a game after release your constantly playng catch up. Like on Top Spin which I recently got. Went to play online and me with about 1/2 Bronze stars and a few silver goes straight up against Mr. All gold stars, I didn't stand a chance.

I just got my 360 last friday although I have had Xbox live on my xbox since late 2004, the only game I played was halo and halo 2 and now that I have played halo 2 so much I reckon Im pretty good at it (Gamertag: RoachycaL). I still play halo 2 on my 360 despite the cheating sometimes - today I bought Oblivion which is my first 360 game and Im loving it although it is not online.
I tried the GRAW demo and I am awfull at it, but Im playing the arcade games frequently now (mostly feeding frenzy and hexic HD). Basically I seem to have found the easy games so for someone that dosnt mind playing an Xbox game on the 360 (Halo 2), go for it - its so much easier than the origional Halo.
I dont plan to buy any more of the 360 games out at the moment, simply because if I am really bad at a game, I find it frustrating and not atall fun. I also play Halo for pc and when I moved onto xbox I seemed to be naturally good at it.
Also how do I get these Gamertag sigs that I see everywhere?
