Xbox Live help please

Hi Guys,

Never had a problem really with live until last night. I had been using the service throughout the night, when I had finished playing MW2 I went back to the dashboard, within about 5 seconds I got kicked from Live. Now it won't let me log on, I had changed ISP, earlier in the day to ADSL24 but had been using it fine that day.

My router hasn't changed settings, using a Netgear DG834GT, all ports open, again, I have been using Live regularly every day for as long as I can remember.

When I do a test it connects fine to the Router, then the Internet, just not to Xbox Live! The suggestions it gives me is make sure the router has the appropriate ports open. My other 360 is also having same issue.

Any ideas? Going to ring MS now but I'm going to get the same old BS questions about connecting to my router etc

Anyone had any similar issues?

EDIT: One Xbox is now working. The other still isn't....Hmmm?

I had issues yesterday on ADSL24. Live test whined about my MTU being too small.

Edit: Can't use GFWL on my PC either.

Yep, me too. You know ADSL24 just changed from Entanet to Murphx? Apparently there might be an issue with Xbox Live not allowing the 109.X.X.X range to access Live. xbox.com is really slow and unreliable too.

There are threads on ADSL24 forums (if you are on Murphx, you will be able to view the 'New Supplier: Murphx' area of the forum), and on xbox.com I think too. Royal pain in the a55.

I've been on murphx for a while with adsl24 without issues (C&W LLU).

The minute I went into MW2 it's kicked me from Live again.

Well i have just rang Microsoft and they have admitted it's a fault on their side of things, the person whom I spoke to sounded pretty clueless tbh so couldn't tell me what the actual fault was but to be patient. Typical it would happen on a weekend!

Yeah, if you are lucky to not have a 109.* IP then you wont be affected. I am on ADSL2 or whatever, not LLU.

My IP address is 109.x.x.x but I'm connecting fine and have been since I got ADSL24 2 months back, I'm more times than not the host in MW2 and get a decent 3-4 bar connection when not host. Not sure if I'm on murphx but I definitely have a 109.x.x.x static IP range.
