xbox live problem

is anyone having trouble with live. My live account was running out yesterday so i subscibed to the year off the xbox itself now i come on today it says im not on gold and i cant play anything online or anything and it just says it costs 39.99 and my credit card number.

do you have to wait or something before it takes the money off your card so you can get gold?

I think considering the state Live is in at the moment, it would be an insult to take your money yet!

Give it till the weekend and see what happens.

there are known problems with xbox live. It has been going loopy since December 25th week.. They are trying to resolve the issues!

ope ive just got an email saying This renewal goes into effect on 25 January 2008 whicj is crap considering the only reason i did it over live is i thought you get it straight away.Im not happy

That's a bit odd. Why do you have to wait so long when you could buy it in the shops and be up instantaneously?

Maybe the 25th of jan is when they expect to actually have XBL actually working properly, rather than breaking every 5 minutes

im gonna ring em up now and ask them to cancel it and ill just get a pre paid card tomorrow as the one i used last year activeated straight away.

I actually emailed them today to complain and ask whats going on and for compensation, its getting ridiculous for a paid subscription service.

well i just checked and it syas ive paid twice for a 12 month subsciption and a 3 week wait is stupid.I then tryed to use my 48 hour trial it accepted the code then asked do i want to redeem it then it just kept giving me an cbox live error.im getting very peeed off.

im not the only one then ive been trying to get a good game online for the last week,

i get signed out for no reason as well, or people seem to get kicked from games and then carnt rejoin.

sure hope this is going to be sorted soon,
