Xbox Live problem?

Anyone else having problems with live? Connection test says everything is fine but when i try to login in it says cannot connect...Restarted router to no avail.
 
I can't quite understand what is going on. Xbox live test says everything is fine but when I try to connect it says cannot connect to xbox live... :mad:
 
Spoke to xbox live support, stated my account is enabled and they can't see why I wouldn't be able to log in...Could it be my isp Be? My internet is working perfectly fine so I cant see why it would be. I haven't changed anything on my router in the last month or so and it was working fine yesterday, seems today it just decided to mess up. Tried both wired and wireless and the same issue occurs.
 
Sorry to bump the thread but just letting people know who may be experiencing the problem. Seems my profile corrupted as a result of the work done on april 1st even though my account worked fine on that day. Deleted my profile (only the profile) and when I went to recover when I rec'd the error documented in this thread

a lot of people are experiencing it, however it can be fixed and im in the process of recovering my tag now, and it seems to be working (albeit its taking a long time). (Edit: It recovered and im back online!! :D)

So if you are having problems where the connection test says your fine and then when you try to login it fails, you most likely are in the select few like me who were screwed by the update :p.
