The English Xbox website is ****!

Its hardly working properly!

Anyway, bro wants to get Xbox Live for his 360.

Can he use a Visa Electron to pay? also how old do you have to be to create an account?

or do I have to waste my afternoon driving to his house to set it up .

Hes 17.

He should have one months free with his 360.
You create the account through the 360 and it offers you silver membership then when you click on it to confirm it offers you 1 month gold.
You can then buy 12 months live from various sources cheaper than via MS direct, usually it is bundled with PGR2 or similar for £15.

If you play using a credit card you pay full price, so as VIRII says, hunt around online, and you can get 12 months for a lot less.

I'm not bothered at getting the cheaper option etc - Its only £40 we're talking about afterall.

I'm assuming its 18 or over then?

Nope because you can buy a scratchcard with the required 12 months code on it and just enter the numbers on the scratchcard into live.
