Xbox live trouble

I got an brand new Elite today..I am trying to set up xbox live and when it says to you accept or decline the terms and conditions I click accept then the xbox will just freeze

Help Please

Will most likely be the servers slowing down as loads of people will be registering new accounts, it happened last year too I think.

Try in a few hours or tomorrow.

so this time last year peoples xbox's were freezing when they tried selecting 'accept' on the terms and conditions?

If it's possible to set up a Live account via their website you might have more luck that way, then you'd only need to login on the Xbox.

Perhaps they took the registration servers down for a while to cope with all the extra load from people playing.

Do not do this. You will not get a free month of Live if you do it via the website.

As has been said, Live will be BUSY today. Just leave it on screen for a while and I'm sure it'll go through.
