is Live down i cant sign in at all

everything in my tests say they r fine

any1 else have probs ? :confused:

Yeah down for me too, I just updated the tomato firmware on my Linksys WRT54G router and couldn't connect to xbox.com or xbox live and though it was due to the firmware :mad:

spent 10mins looking through the settings checking everything was setup correctly, I feel silly now

Just keep trying every 5mins or so, They've got servers worldwide and if you cant connect to one of them (in this case the one we are all trying to connect to) it will eventually connect to a different one. This happened to me last year, it just seems like one of the login servers is having problems and after so many attempts it should work finally.

Im not saying it 100% will work, but it did for me last time it happened and also xbox.com is working for me saying there are people online too.

It's a custom firmware for the router.

Have spoken to MS support, they said they are having a lot of issues from people that are using Virgin Media/Telewest/NTL.
