I have just got a 360 today and wanted to ask if I sign up for xbox live and go for the silver membership after a certain amount of time will I have to pay anything? I cant seem to find anything on the net! I guess I am just being blind!

You can't play games online.

Some downloads come out a little later on Silver accounts.

You get a month free Gold with your new Xbox anyway!
