Hi guys,

I wondered if anyone would be interested in browsing this guys handy work. I'm currently working on a project whereby I move the internals of my xbox to something a little more attractive. Without touching on the illegal side (ie. XBMC), I use my xbox not so much for games anymore but media such as DVDs and streaming.

So my aim is to incorporate the internals of my xbox, whilst tidying up the front and having no controller ports. This will be done by hardwiring the wireless controller dongles internally but having a discrete LED for each port on the front. I may also add wireless connectivity, however, CAT5 is in plentiful supply and very neatly hardwired into the house so no problems there.

This fella has done something very similar, however, mine will have no buttons on the front bar power and eject. I am tempted to add some buttons, but I'd rather not.

That looks like a great mod.

Good luck to you on your one. :)

Ive always wanted to do the exact same thing, cant be bothered now i have a 360. My old xbox is still sitting under my tv with a 80gig HD running XBMX etc through a hi def cable mainly being used for music & dvd playing & old games.

Nice mod and i will do it when my 360 gets hacked :) (soon i hope!)

Yeah thats a great mod and have been thinking of doing the same sort of thing. Just need to find the right shell!

XBMC is the Xbox 1's killer app! ;)

even more so when the MC360 skin gets released.

Its vector based graphics don't eat into the memory and help the speed of operation (not that thats ever been a problem). The skin is a couple of weeks away (or so they say), and is looking awesome.

There are videos of the beta version floating about on the net (google it :) )

ps i will say no more on the matter in case a wandering don pops in :D

ROFL. As above, I was looking for the right shell, I've considered many. For the time being I'm settling for a simple aluminium enclosure until I can find somethin similar to and101.
